Help:Unable to create directory uploads
Problem
Application: Wordpress
Uploading media to the media library results in the error:
Unable to create directory uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
Resolution
In the dashboard go to
Settings > Media > Store uploads in this folder
Check to make sure the directory is correct. This could be the result of transferring a website under one user id to another user id and then not updating this setting to reflect the correct path.
